Your project in your pocket

I'm popping by for a minute to share a tip. Take it or leave it, because I'm not here to influence, only to exchange.
If, as a creative person, you're anything like me, you have 3 notebooks, 2 sketch books, 4 scraps of paper originating from various locations and a smartphone on which to record your creative output. Not only that, but those items are never with you at the same time, or all the time. Except, of course, the blessed smart phone.
I'm working on a new project but not getting much studio time, so keeping track of myself and my project is essential for momentum and to prevent me from unravelling.
HOT TIP:
Make a folder on whatever Photo app you use and put everything associated with your project, and only that project, in it.
Fails, successes, scribbles. All of it.
If you scrawl a note, make a drawing, or create any material thing that is or could be connected to your project, photograph it and put it in the folder (aka album). It's a laundry chute for all your stuff: it all ends up in the same bin, but in magical, chronological order. It's there in your pocket all the time. I shared the folder with a colleague to get some feedback too.
This method has helped me in a big way over the last few weeks. Maybe it will help you too.
That's all.
Until next time, go well.
